Lerici Hotel Surroundings: Le Cinque Terre

Not far from the Hotel San Terenzo is the port of Lerici where ferries connect Lerici to Portovenere and Cinque Terre.

Almost to the extreme east in the Riviera, are the Cinque Terre, five villages clinging on overhanging cliffs above the sea, surrounded by olive groves and green hills. A unique landscape in the world that the UNESCO has declared a World Heritage Site.


Monterosso, with the ancient village and the beach is a cultural and bathing destination. Vernazza with the two towers, has steep and very challenging trails that descend to a charming bay. Manarola, a medieval village perched on a spur, and Riomaggiore are connected by the splendid Via dell’Amore (Way of Love), a wonderful walk dug into the rocky walls a stone throw from the waves.
